Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Quebot. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Quebot platform, website (http://www.quebot.io), and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Quebot ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

  1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Quebot. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Account Registration

To use Quebot, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration

  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. The Service

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and organization details. If you sign in through a third-party service (such as Google), we receive basic profile information from that provider.

5. Your Data

5.1 Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you submit to or connect with Quebot, including feedback data, documents, and organization information ("Your Data"). We do not claim any ownership rights over Your Data.

5.2 License to Us

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and analyze Your Data solely to provide and improve the Service for you. We will not use Your Data for any other purpose.

5.3 Data Processing

We use third-party AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Mistral) to process Your Data for the purpose of generating insights. None of these providers use your data to train their AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5.4 Data Portability and Deletion

You may request export or deletion of Your Data at any time by contacting us at akansha@quebot.io. Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law

  • Upload content that is malicious, harmful, or violates the rights of others

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other accounts, or data

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

  • Use the Service to compete with Quebot or build a substantially similar product

  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written consent

  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without authorization

  1. Integrations

Quebot connects with third-party services (such as Slack, Intercom, and others) to ingest feedback data. When you
connect a third-party integration:

  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share that data with Quebot

  • We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services

  • Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, documentation, branding, and all related intellectual property, is and remains the property of Quebot. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as described here.

8.2 Feedback to Us

If you provide us with suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service ("Feedback"), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use that Feedback to improve the Service. This does not apply to Your Data.

9. Free Access and Pricing

Quebot is currently offered as a free early access product. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the
future. If we do:

  • We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any pricing changes affect your account

  • You will have the option to continue on a free tier (if available) or upgrade

  • You will not be charged without your explicit consent

10. For Users in the European Union (GDPR)

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure

  • The insights, themes, or analysis generated by AI will be accurate or complete

  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

  • Any defects will be corrected within a specific timeframe

AI-generated insights are intended to assist your decision-making, not replace professional judgment.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quebot and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or INR 5,000, whichever is greater.

  1. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quebot and its founders, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your violation of any third-party rights

  • Data you submit or connect through the Service

  1. Termination

By you

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us at akansha@quebot.io.

By us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:

  • You violate these Terms

  • Your use of the Service poses a risk to other users or our systems

  • We are required to do so by law

  • We discontinue the Service

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete Your Data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, India.

Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to contact us at akansha@quebot.io and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

  1. General Provisions

Entire Agreement — These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you
and Quebot regarding the Service.

  • Severability — If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will
    continue in full force and effect.

  • Waiver — Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right
    or provision.

  • Assignment — You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights
    without restriction.

  • Notices — We may send notices to you via email or through the Service. You may send notices to us at
    akansha@quebot.io.
